Tierra Magra  is the name of the world’s best sandwich, according to a decision at the last contest held at the Madrid Fusion (gastronomic world capital during three days).

The history of the sandwich, according to its creator Juan Casamayor, chef of the restaurant Moltto, is inspired by the very satisfying sandwiches which Valencians order between 10 am and 12 noon before lunch.

The  Tierra Magra  is definitely filling, featuring a flavor that one does not soon forget, which means it has its very own identity.

The restaurant Moltto is located in Valencia’s historic center, the ideal starting point from which to undertake a guided tour and explore the city’s history.
